THE LETTING GO
Six week online workshop
Many of us photograph well but feel there is something missing. A depth, or a level of personality absent from the finished piece. Frustration may set in as we feel our creativity is not being accessed to its full potential. Stepping out of our comfort zone creatively enables a new foundation to work from in the future.
This workshop is aimed at photographers who have a good understanding of their practice, but would like to push themselves further artistically and personally. During the programme, participants will be encouraged to explore themselves and their practice more deeply, and utilise their inner drive in a supportive environment.
The sessions will be nurturing yet fast paced and intensive to allow for weekly shooting, group critiques and editing. You will be expected to present a small selection of your images each week.
Having worked as a photographer for 17 years and lecturer for 11, Laura Hynd is passionate about the need for creative support and community. She has helped students and practitioners with project ideas, creative experimentation, narrative development, project resolutions, presentation outcomes and more.
